Upon entering the castle, you are confronted by six of the Seven Sages. They prepare to attack you, but all the Gym Leaders (minus Cilan, Chili, and Cress) arrive to hold them off for you while you search for N. Go west of them, through the small door, and east to find the stairs.
As you keep going east on the next floor, a member of the Shadow Triad shows up and escorts you to the second door. Inside the room, you'll meet Anthea and Concordia. Anthea (with pink hair) will heal your Pokémon, while Concordia will tell you a bit about N's history. Go into the next room east. At the top of the room is a Max Potion. Head up the stairs.
In the room just north of the stairs is a PC you can use to get your party the way you want for when you face N. The next room over has a Max Revive. The left room has two Plasma Grunts at the top of the room. The right one will transport you back to the Pokémon Center of the Pokémon League. The left one will give you an Ultra Ball.
As you try to head up the stairs, you'll be stopped again by a member of the Shadow Triad. Head up the stairs, and the last member will show you N's room, which contains some children's toys. On the ramp is a Rare Candy. In the next room over is a Full Restore. The last room has nothing of interest, so head up the stairs. After heading up, approach N's throne room where Ghetsis will stop you. He has been waiting for this moment. He tells you to go onward to discover what it takes to be a hero.
N will be sitting on his throne. He comes forward to face you and invites you to show him your determination. After approaching him, he will summon ZekromB/ReshiramW, who flies in through the wall behind the throne. After it shows up, your Light StoneB/Dark StoneW will tremble from your Bag, and the power within it is released as its true form of ReshiramB/ZekromW! N says it is testing you and will battle you to prove you're worthy of its power.

After the battle, you'll be prompted to add the Dragon to your party; it will always become the lead Pokémon. N will then declare that he will sweep you before him.

|
N is confused by his loss and wonders if both truth and ideals can both be right. Ghetsis appears and reveals he revived ZekromB/ReshiramW for N to use, calling him a disappointment. Team Plasma's motive for stealing Pokémon—separate worlds—is shown to be a lie. Ghetsis manipulated N and Team Plasma to ensure that he was the only person in Unova with Pokémon so that he could dominate the region. Alder and Cheren arrive and hear this, and try to stop him. Alder berates him, but it has no effect. Ghetsis will then battle you in a rage, despite N's protest.
|
Ghetsis asks how he, a self-proclaimed "perfect ruler of a perfect world" could be defeated. He knows he couldn't be the hero so he manipulated N into becoming it. He says N is "a freak without a human heart." Alder tells N he has a lot to think about. After talking with N, he and Cheren take Ghetsis into custody.
N talks to you for a while, saying Alder forgave him and now he needs to figure out what he needs to do, and that only he can decide that. He will then release his Legendary Dragon through the back wall and bid you farewell. Enjoy the credits!
Afterwards, you'll be back in Nuvema Town. There's still a lot more of the region to explore and things to do!
